I am a NHS graduate and I am excited to return this year as a teacher.

In May, I graduated from Grand Canyon University with my Masters degree in special education. My teaching career started in a Pre-K inclusive classroom and led me to the Licking Valley school district, where I have worked as a special education aide for the past four years.

 

I completed my student teaching experience at Licking Valley Middle School where I co-taught English, Math, Science, and Social Studies. This year, in addition to teaching a 700 project class, I will be co-teaching Physical Science with Ms. Nash and Environmental Science with Mrs. Carlson.

 

Personally, I have three kids of my own who will be entering their sixth, seventh, and twelfth grade years in the Newark City school district.
